With flowing pristine rivers and lakes, local vineyards and delicious restaurants, you’ll feel like you’re eating a royal feast. That is a land fit for a king, which is how Kingsland was named. Kingsland is a quaint getaway that sits along the Colorado River and beautiful Lake LBJ; a controlled level lake which allows year round fun for the whole family! Visitors and property owners can fish, swim and boat then picnic on the banks of the lake or stop by one of the local restaurants such as El Braceros, Antler’s Inn, Boat Town or Mr. Gattis. If you are looking for a historical adventure, stop by Antler’s Inn which was built in 1901 as a resort and refuge for railroad workers and travelers. One of the buildings on the property was the actual house they used when filming the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Perissos Vineyard and Winery where you can harvest and stomp grapes in July and August, is located right around the corner. If you want to play golf while visiting, stop by the public course at the Lighthouse Country Club, where you will also find the North Point Landing RV Park, Stay and Play Villas.
There are several waterfront subdivisions in Kingsland, along Lake LBJ: Bridegpoint, The Legends on Lake LBJ, Colina Cove, The Enclave and Kingsland Ranch. If you would like additional information about these or any other areas in Kingsland, please give us a call!
